Overview

The Warehouse/Fulfillment Center Recruiter will work onsite at our Olathe, KS fulfillment center location and deliver full life-cycle recruitment for hourly hiring needs at multiple locations and across multiple shifts to meet and exceed recruitment goals and hiring manager expectations using market-specific recruiting, social media networking, and other sourcing tools. Position Description

The Warehouse/Fulfillment Center Recruiter will lead the recruitment efforts for all of our fulfilment centers and work closely with the VP of HR, the current warehouse recruiter, and partner with managers to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the company. This position will deliver the best warehouse workers to the company and will champion our core values, all while having FUN doing it! You will be a true contributor to the growth of the company and source the warehouse talent that makes 1A Auto continue to thrive and meet the company's goals.

General Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership & full life cycle recruiting for warehouse positions. 
  • Partner with the Facility Operations Managers to gain thorough understanding of hiring needs and goals to align short-term and long-range workforce planning and forecasting.
  • Develop and drive recruiting strategies for all warehouse locations with a focus on warehouse associates and other operational and hourly workers. 
  • Conduct interviews with candidates to evaluate their knowledge, skills, and abilities. Create a positive candidate experience.
  • Create internal and external job postings.
  • Utilize social media and other networking resources, including on-site job fairs.
  • Maintain great relationships with our business partners.
  • Design, track, and report key metrics designed to measure and predict the recruitment and hire of labor needs for warehouse associates for all locations.
  • Utilize and leverage data and analytics, drive the narrative of our recruiting status. Take a data-driven approach to recruiting that allows us to identify and eliminate bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Manage all recruitment systems and ensure efficient and optimal use at all times. Improve and optimize technology platforms.
  • Drive awareness of our employer value proposition, championing our core values and culture to attract high-performing talent.
  • Proactively engage and attract talent at job fairs and build community relationships for the recruitment of hourly warehouse positions.
  • Promotes and leverages the use of the 1A Auto Referral program to identify and recruit candidates.

 Education, Experience and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced MS Office and technology skills, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • 5+plus years of demonstrated success in leading high volume warehouse recruitment a must.
  • Proven ability to successfully meet deliverables and excel in a fast paced, challenging environment.
  • Must have attributes of a dedicated and resourceful self-starter that can deliver results.
  • Ability to create meaningful metrics to drive the recruitment function.
  • Data-driven with the ability to create, use and analyze data to make smart decisions.
  • Proven knowledge, expertise, and passion for high volume recruitment.
  • Strong familiarity with warehouse operations.
  • Excellent communicator ready to make things happen!
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Clear understanding of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle processes.
  • Strong social media skills related to recruitment activities.
  • Sense of humor!
